Two-day 'Rangta' fair starts Friday

To celebrate the upcoming Bangla New Year, “Rangta”, a fair celebrating passion and entrepreneurship, will take place on April 6 and 7 at Midas Centre in the capital's Dhanmondi area, said a press release.

The fair is organised by the Meye Network, a non-profit, voluntary organisation advocating women's solidarity, empowerment and leadership. The first fair was organised in 2013. 

The fair will include new and old books, plants, food, spices, clothing for all age range, handwoven cotton sarees, Jamdani, Katan, Nakshikantha sarees, jewelries, dresses, among others. For the very first time, there will be facility to make payments using debit or credit cards. The fair will be open from 10:00am to 9:00pm.
