Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday expressed hope that Singapore will continue providing decent working environment to Bangladeshi workers.

She said this during a lunch hosted by her Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong at Istana, the official residence and office of the president of Singapore and the working office of the country's prime minister.

While Singapore has the capital, advanced technology and know-hows, Bangladesh is well equipped with young and educated workforce, the premier said, adding that the combination can benefit both the countries.

Lee Hsein Loong said Singapore is eyeing to invest in Bangladesh's energy and port sectors.
