On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, a workshop was jointly organised by Access to Information (a2i) Programme under Prime Minister's Office and Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) Bangladesh on "ICT in education for visually impaired teachers" at Karabi Hall, Prime Minister Office, Bangladesh. Upon completion of the workshop, laptops were distributed amongst the visually impaired teachers. Director General (Admin) of Prime Minister's Office and Project Director of a2i Programme Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar was present at the workshop as the Chief Guest. Director General of DSHE Professor Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Joint Programme Director of Secondary Education Sector Investment Programme Mohammad Abu Sayeed Shekh and Project Director of Teaching Quality Improvement in Secondary Education (TQI-II) Mohammad Jahir Uddin Babar were present at the workshop as special guests.
