Shuvra Kanti Choudhury has recently been appointed as managing director of Central Depository Bangladesh Ltd (CDBL).

Prior to the appointment, he was the deputy managing director of the company, CDBL said in a statement yesterday.

Choudhury also served the Dhaka Stock Exchange as chief financial officer, according to the statement.
