TraumaLink's latest milestone

TraumaLink, a voluntary based system, provides free emergency first aid service to the people injured on the highways of Bangladesh. The organisation is going to expand its operations in Manikganj, starting from Mohadevpur bus stand to Nobogram, area under Manikganj District on the Dhaka-Aricha highway. The inaugural ceremony of this event was held by TraumaLink at Sibalaya Upazila Auditorium on 12 December, 2017.

Suzuki Rancon Motorbikes Ltd, a sponsor of the mentioned event and a leading motorbike company of Bangladesh, has expressed their solidarity with TraumaLink operations. Suzuki believes road safety is one of the major concerns of every company of the automobile industry, and they are ready with all their resources to help TraumaLink's initiatives to succeed.

TraumaLink Trust is the first organisation of Bangladesh that provides free Emergency First Aid Service on the highways of Bangladesh. It provides voluntary services with the help of local people. TraumaLink's service model utilises a hotline number, a 24/7 call centre and volunteer first responders recruited from local community who are trained in basic first aid and provided with necessary medical equipment. TraumaLink is currently operating on 55 km altogether on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway and Dhaka Aricha Highway.
