'4 pics 1 word' brings on your screen, four different pictures on top and twelve boxes of letters at the bottom. The four pictures shown to you have one thing in common. And that is what you need to figure out.

There are blanks set at the bottom of the pictures; you figure out what that one thing is that all four of the pictures have in common then fill it up with the help of the twelve letters set at the bottom. To help you figure out the word you get two options at the right. But to use the options you need coins, which you earn through solving the puzzles and if not, through surprise, surprise paying. Because even an app needs to remind you that life is difficult and you don't always get what you want.

As for the boring stuff, the app is for iOS/Android phones, only. (I'm sorry, Nokia 1200) The developers of the app, LOTUM GmbH, updated the app in March 2013 when the app really began to take off. It is rated 12+ which means no matter how smart your 5th grader sibling may be; he/she cannot help you with this.

So, as long as you are procrastinating your life away with your smartphone (honestly, we all are), might as well do it with a fun app like 4 pics 1 word!
