The actor will spend the day at his Dhanmondi residence, where his daughter Puspita and son Purno will enthusiastically cut separate cakes to mark their father's special day.
Talking to The Daily Star, Zahid Hasan said it is his children who brighten up his birthday, adding that he loves taking the day off to catch up with friends and family.
Although those close to him, usually visit him at his home on his birthday, Zahid Hasan has plans to take his children out.
His wife, Sadia Islam Mou, will have a busy day turning up some delectable dishes for the occasion.
