Today is massacre day at Terosree village in Ghior upazila.
On this day in 1971, Pakistani occupation army with the help of local collaborators killed 43 people at the village.
The victims include Terosree estate Zaminader Siddheswar Prasad Roy Chowdhury and Principal of Terosree College Atiar Rahman.
To mark the day, the martyrs' memorial committee has chalked out various programmes, said president of the committee Md Amirul Islam.
The programmes include discussion, mourning procession, wearing black badge and placing of wreaths at the graves of martyrs.
