Awami League Central Working Committee (ALCWC) member Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, MP, has been inducted as a member in the party presidium, the highest policy-making body of the party.

Mosharraf as a member of the party presidium in the light of decision taken in the last meeting of the ALCWC, according to a press release issued on Thursday by AL deputy office secretary Mrinal Kanti Das.

Former Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, a senior leader of Awami League, was elected as a member of the Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament) from Mirsharai constituency in Chittagong for a number of terms. He is the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

During his long political career, Eng Mosharraf served the party in different responsible positions including president of Chittagong district (North) unit Awami League.
