ACC quizzes Asif Mahmud’s former APS Moazzem

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today interrogated Md Moazzem Hossain, former assistant private secretary (APS) to LGRD and Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain over corruption allegations.

According to sources, the interrogation began at 11:30am at the ACC headquarters.

Moazzem is facing various allegations, including corruption involving procurement and transfer-related dealings.

On April 21, Moazzem was relieved of his duties as the APS to Asif Mahmud.

On April 25, Asif Mahmud informed the media that he requested the ACC to investigate the allegations brought against his former APS Moazzem Hossain.
