NCP launches youth wing 'Jatiya Juboshokti'

The youth wing of the National Citizen Party (NCP), "Jatiya Juboshokti", has been launched today with the announcement of a 131-member convening committee.

Supreme Court lawyer Tariqul Islam has been appointed as the convenor of the committee, while physician Zahedul Islam has been named member secretary. Farhad Sohel has been selected as the chief organiser.

The announcements was made at a programme held in the capital's Gulistan this evening.

NCP's Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari introduced the top three leaders of the newly formed body, while the remaining names were announced by Member Secretary Zahedul Islam.

Following the formal announcement of the top leadership, Zahedul further informed that Tuhin Mahmud has been made senior joint convener, while Dyuti Arannya Chowdhury and Nahida Bushra will serve as senior joint member secretaries.

He added that the names of the remaining office-bearers of the 131-member convening committee will be officially announced through a press release.
