Protesters beat up cop, torch his bike at Azimpur

Students demonstrating for quota reform beat up a member of police and torched his motorcycle in Dhaka's Azimpur area this afternoon.
The police officer was pushing his bike instead of riding it due to the large gathering of protesters, who were positioned at Azimpur blocking the road around 3:00pm.

Within a minute, the protesters grabbed the police personnel and beat him up indiscriminately, leaving him injured.
They also torched his bike at that time.
He was later rescued by police and sent to the hospital.
Around 4:30pm when this report was filed, the protesters had taken position in the Azimpur and Palashi areas blocking the road.
