Man's bullet-hit body brought to Dhamrai health complex

A bullet-hit body of an unidentified man was brought to Dhamrai Upazila Health Complex in Dhaka.
Ahmedul Haque Titas, in-charge of the health complex, said some men brought the body, aged around 30, at the hospital at 1:20pm and left.
There were bullet wounds on the back of the body, the doctor added.
Thousands of people blocked the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in front of Jahangirnagar University in Savar pressing home their one-point demand.
Earlier, students of different educational institutions and general people started gathering at the Shaheed Minar of JU from 10:30am. Later, they started protesting at the Dairy Gate area of the highway in front of the university.
They blocked the highway around 12:45pm. The protesters chanted various slogans demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her cabinet.
Two patrol vehicles of the army were going towards Dhaka during the demonstration at the Dairy Gate area around 1:15pm. At that time, the protesters stopped the two cars and started chanting slogans like "army government is needed right now".
At one stage, when the army members started miking, the protesters started throwing brickbats. The front glasses of the two army vehicles were broken.
