A man was detained at the domestic terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) while attempting to board a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight en route to Cox's Bazar using a forged boarding pass and ticket.

Group Captain SM Ragib Samad, Executive Director of HSIA, confirmed the incident.

The flight, Biman Bangladesh Airlines BG 437, was scheduled to depart for Cox's Bazar at 4:30pm.

The individual, identified as Aman, hails from Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria.

According to sources at the airport, Aman successfully passed through the first and second layers of security at the terminal.
