France wants to set up satellite factory in Bangladesh

France wants to set up a satellite factory in Bangladesh, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said today.
"We would welcome it. They [France] actually proposed setting up a satellite factory back in 2021," Momen told journalists at a briefing at the foreign ministry in the capital.
Besides, France also proposed a second satellite for Bangladesh. Earlier, France manufactured the first satellite for Bangladesh, named Bangabandhu-1.
These issues will be discussed during the upcoming visit of France President Emmanuel Macron likely on September 11, after the G20 summit in New Delhi.
