Curfew extended in Gopalganj indefinitely

The curfew in effect in Gopalganj has been extended indefinitely, with a three-hour break between 11:00am and 2:00pm tomorrow.
According to a home ministry notification, the ongoing curfew in Gopalganj, which began at 8:00pm yesterday (July 16, 2025) and continued until 6:00pm today (July 17), will remain in effect until 11:00am tomorrow (July 18). The curfew will be lifted for three hours—from 11:00am to 2:00pm—tomorrow. It will then resume from 2:00pm and remain in force until further notice.
