Coastguard, Australian HC launch training

The Australian High Commission and the Bangladesh Coast Guard have jointly organised the "Investigative Interview Course" to enhance the professional skills, operational capabilities, and investigative expertise of the law enforcement forces.
Rear Admiral Mohammad Ziaul Haque, director general of the Bangladesh Coast Guard, inaugurated the training programme at The Westin in Dhaka yesterday, said a press release.
A total of 12 officers from the Bangladesh Coast Guard, Special Branch (Immigration) of Bangladesh Police, and Bangladesh Customs are participating in the course.
The coast guard chief said the training is expected to significantly improve participants' investigative skills and ability to gather accurate information, which will contribute to ensuring proper judicial proceedings.
