The next year's SSC and HSC examinations are likely to be held in February and June respectively, according to a notification of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.

The office order released today, signed by its head, Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, states that the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams will take place in the second week of February, and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam in the second week of June.

HSC exams would be held with a curtailed syllabus, while SSC exams will be held using the full syllabus, the notification said.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, the SSC and equivalent exams were held in February and the HSC exams started in April.
