Fire at Mirpur-13 slum under control
Fire broke out at 7:55pm; 5 units working to douse the blaze

A fire that broke out at "Bhashantek new slum" nearby OSB Hospital in the capital's Mirpur-13 at around 7:55pm was brought under control after an hour.
Seven fire engines went to the spot around 8:10pm and brought the blaze under control at 9:10pm, said Anwarul Islam, media officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.
No casualties were reported in the fire.
The cause behind the fire could not be known immediately.
