Schools shut in Rajasthan, Jammu border districts after India’s missile strikes on Pakistan

All educational institutions in four border districts of Rajasthan and five districts of Jammu and Kashmir have been closed as a precaution following India's missile strikes on Pakistan.
According to a report by PTI, government and private schools have been shut in Ganganagar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, and Barmer districts of Rajasthan — all located along the India-Pakistan border.
The western districts of the state have been placed on high alert.
In Jammu and Kashmir, schools and colleges in five border districts — Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, and Poonch — have also been closed for the day due to the tense security situation, said Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter).
