After serving fuchka to Bangladeshi tourist, Mamata makes momo in Darjeeling

Three days after delighting the people of Darjeeling hill resort by preparing and serving fuchka on a roadside stall, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today did encore by making another popular snack momo at a shop set up by a women's self-help group there.
During her morning talk from Richmond to the zoo in Singmari locality of Darjeeling town, Mamata interacted with the locals and women members of self-help groups, trying to know the problems they face, our New Delhi correspondent reports
.At one point, Mamata herself started making momo out of the dough and handing them over to the women for stuffing and boiling.
Earlier, Mamata stuffed fuchka with smashed potato and peas and served them at a roadside stall, much to the amusement of local residents and a Bangladeshi tourist visiting Darjeeling.
"Today, I made momo during my morning walk in Darjeeling. Elated to share such special moments with the people. Darjeeling will always have my heart and I salute the hard-working people of our hills who make every visit so memorable," she wrote on her official Facebook account and 21 pictures of her making momo as part of political outreach programme.
