Two title aspirants - Muktijoddha Sangsad and Abahani - played to a goalless draw in a vital match of the Premier Division Football League at the Mirpur Stadium yesterday, reports UNB.

After the day's match, the Muktis took a joint lead in the league with holders Mohammedan securing 37 points each from 16 matches while Abahani followed the leaders with 35 points from 16 matches.

Both the teams played with attack and counter-attack, but Muktijoddha managed comparatively better chances, but could not utilise them.

Meanwhile, Dhanmondi Club beat Wari Club by a lone goal in the First Division League at the Army Stadium.

Abul Hossain netted the match-winning goal in the 12th minute.
