Dhaka Bank Ltd has re-elected Altaf Hossain Sarker as chairman and Mohammad Hanif vice chairman of the bank, says a press release.
They were re-elected at the bank's 144 th board meeting, held on May 31.
Sarker, a sponsor shareholder of Dhaka Bank Ltd, is also the chief executive officer of several units of Rahmat Group, which includes Rahmat Textiles Ltd, Rahmat Spinning Mills Ltd, Rahmat Plastic and Accessories Ltd and China Plastic (BD) Ltd.
He is a trustee member of Independent University Bangladesh and a director of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association and Express Insurance Ltd.
Hanif, also a sponsor shareholder of Dhaka Bank, is the director of National Foundry and Engineering Works Pvt Ltd, Hanif Steel Mills Ltd, Hanif Spinning Mills Ltd and Asif Enterprise.
