Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city has launched a brand new swimming pool and health club facilities after its renovation for more than one year and a half.
The facilities have already been available for the resident guests, but will be made available for members from August 1, Selina Momen, public relations and communications manager of the hotel, said at a press briefing at the poolside of the five star hotel yesterday.
“World-class training instruments are laid out along with experienced trainers to guide their members, a dietitian for a healthy diet, life-saving equipment standing by and a massage room for relaxation is there too,” says a press release.
There are separate gym facilities and aerobic session for the ladies, swimming classes for children, indoor and open-air Jacuzzi, two Saunas and two steam rooms, the release added.
The operating hours are from 6:00am to 10:00pm and exclusively for the ladies from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Pan Pacific Sonargaon launched the facilities at the poolside on Monday where Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Syeed Mohammad Zobaer, Hotels International Ltd Managing Director Mesbah ul Alam, Secretary Shawkat Hasan and directors Hakim Ali and Anowar Rashid were present.
Sonargaon Hotel General Manager Hidetaka Yishyama took part in the programme.
