More than two months after the election, the Bangladesh Football Federation yesterday completed formation of its seven sub-committees.
Although heads of a couple of sub-committees had been announced earlier, the Emergency Committee named a few new faces for chiefs of the remaining.
Manzoor Hossain Malu and his deputy Shawkat Hossain Khan Jahangir, the two vice-presidents of the BFF, seemingly put aside their differences to lead a nine-member Dhaka Metropolis League Committee, which includes Sirajul Islam Bachchu, Azfaruzzaman Sohrab, Golam Rabbani Helal and former metropolis football chief Mojammel Haque Mukta.
Anwarul Hoque Helal's finance committee has BFF member Golam Rabbani Helal as deputy chairman while Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Azfaruzzaman Sohrab and Syed Shahabuddin Shamim completes the most important sub-body.
The other committees (chairman and deputy chairman): Futsal- Khurshid Alam babul, Mizanur Rahman Khan Dipu; referees'- Bashir Ahmed, Monirul Islam; players' status- Akhter Hossain Khan, Abdur Rahim; disciplinary committee- Mesbah Uddin, Mahfuzur Rahman Siddiquee; medical committee- Prof Faruk R Awlad, Mahfuzullah Chishti.
The BFF has yet to name the development committee as the federation's search for a dynamic organiser, who would give enough time to run the show, as its boss continues.
The sub-committees, however, will have to be approved by the executive committee.
