Apurbo and Tazin in a scene from the play

ATN Bangla will air this week's special play "Maa", tonight at 8:00 pm. The cast includes Tazin Ahmed, Apurbo, Sohel Khan, Mamun and Rasheda.
Kedun attempts suicide by taking pills and starts reminiscing the unfortunate events in his life. His disabled mother and grandmother are his only companions. Kedun does not know the identity of his father; several men had wrongly taken advantage of his mother in the past. He is extremely frustrated about all the injustice he has to endure and murders his mother one day.
The play has been written and directed by Ashraf Himel.
