Dhaka Wanderers Club and Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club played out a goalless draw in the opening match of the Popular Life Insurance Senior Division Football League at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium yesterday.
Both teams tried to break the deadlock but all their efforts were in vain due to lack of good finishing. The Senior Division Football League began after a one-year gap with the participation of seven clubs.
Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu declared the league open where BFF president Kazi Salahuddin was also present. Jatrabari KC will face Sunrise SC at the same venue today.
