A scene from the serial

Ekushey TV will air a new television serial Durer Manush from tonight. The serial has been written and directed by Arun Choudhury and the cast includes Mahfuz Ahmed, Tisha, Armaan Parvez Murad, Chhonda, Hillol and Shanu.
Mahfuz, Tisha and their daughter lead a happy life in Pataya, Thailand. Tisha has been living in Thailand with her parents for quite a few years and has no idea of the dark past Mahfuz has fled from. The marriage starts to fall apart when Murad comes looking for him in Thailand and informs Tisha that Mahfuz's brother is a criminal in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Murad is in Thailand with another motive- to murder Chhonda. However, eventually, he falls in love with her. Chhonda has come to Thailand on a study tour along with her lover Hillol. Here he comes across his former love Shanu. The relationship is revived between the estranged couple and at the same time Chhonda starts to bond with Murad.
