Noted TV director Animesh Aich will make his debut on the silver screen with “Na Manush”. The casting and rehearsals are already over, with full fledged shooting scheduled to begin from the first week of January.
“Na Manush” held its mahurat at a city restaurant on Wednesday, attended by Nasiruddin Yusuff, Abul Hayat, Dr. Enamul Haq, Mamunur Rashid, Giasuddin Selim, Toukir Ahmed, Bipasha Hayat, Tanvin Sweety, Shimla, Shwadhin Khashru, Mezbaur Rahman Shumon, Rokeya Rafiq Baby, Nazmul Huda Bachchu, Teli Samad and Lux star Moushumi Hamid.
From this movie onwards, Moushumi Hamid will take on a new screen name Moumi.
“Na Manush” is an adaptation of a Shahidul Zahir story. The actors in the film are Mamunur Rashid, Abul Hayat, Ahmed Rubel, Shimla, Moumi, Rokeya Rafiq Baby, Nazmul Huda Bachchu and Manzur Ehsan, among others.
“Na Manush” will also see the debut of Arannyak Nattya Dal actor Dipak Sumon as a lead character in a movie.
The movie will be produced by Mahina Arefin under the banner of Nebula Production. Animesh Aich himself is the screenwriter, while director of photography is Nehal Quraishi. The art director is Iftekhar Khan Bonny and the theme music will be done by Rahul Ananda.
The story of “Na Manush” surrounds the life of Mofizuddin, a poor peasant from Sirajganj ,and his wife and son Akalu.
Animesh Aich says the story has many facets, as it is sometimes the story of Akalu, or at times it is the story of a crow.
