Dr Samanta Lal Sen Thursday has been appointed chief coordinator of the Burn Units across the country.
Earlier he left the administrative responsibility of Dhaka Medical College Hospital's Burn Unit and handed over the charge to DMCH director general.
Dr Sen told The Daily Star that he has got a contractual appointment for two years. Dr Sen said he will take steps to open burn units at district level hospitals.
