A number of district judges and officials were transferred and given new postings in a reshuffle in lower judiciary.
The government made the reshuffle after consultation with the Supreme Court.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry issued a notification in this regard.
Panchagarh District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Abdus Salek was made Sirajganj District and Sessions judge, judge of Barisal Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal Mohammad Abul Hossain Bepari appointed Special Judge in Comilla, judge of Nilphamari Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal MA Nur made judge in Dinajpur Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal, Mohammad Mahbubul Islam, judge of Speedy Trial Tribunal in Sylhet, made Panchagarh District and Sessions Judge.
Bagerhat District and Sessions Judge GM Salahuddin was appointed District and Sessions Judge in Khulna, and Sirajganj District and Sessions Judge Laila Salma Banu made chairman at Second Court of Settlement in Dhaka on deputation and her service has been brought under Housing and Public Works Ministry.
