Speakers at a view-exchange meeting yesterday stressed for proper implementation of law to prevent acid violence in the country.
They sought cordial cooperation from the government to investigate into different acid violence incidents across the country and to ensure punishment of the perpetrators.
They made the remarks while addressing the meeting on 'Legal Aid to Acid Victims and Resolving Obstacles' organised by the Acid Survivors Foundation (ASF) in the city.
They also urged the government to take necessary measures to resolve different problems faced by the aid workers while dealing with acid violence incidents.
Deputy Attorney General ABM Altaf Hossain, Assistant Attorney General Saikat Bashu, ASF Executive Director Monira Hossain spoke at the programme.
