GM Quader given charge to run JP
Former president and Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad yesterday handed over the responsibilities for running the party to his younger brother and Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister GM Quader.
Ershad said from now on Quader will lead Jatiya Party as his physical condition doesn't permit him to work hard.
“In absence of me Quader will take up the chairmanship of the party,” he added while addressing a meeting organised by the district unit of the party at its Rangpur office.
He called upon the leaders and activists of Jatiya Party to work under the leadership of GM Quader, who is also a presidium member of the party.
The meeting was presided over by GM Quader. Among others, Anisul Islam Mondal MP, Mokbul Shahriar Hossain Asif MP, former lawmakers Karim Uddin Bharosa and Moshiur Rahman Ranga were present at the meeting.
