Radio Today starts journey as 'Green Radio'

Radio Today, a FM band radio station, started its journey as a 'Green Radio' yesterday.
Rafiqul Haque, managing director of the station, announced this at the annual conference of its correspondents at a city hotel, says a press release.
The radio station will work for creating awareness on reducing global warming and greenhouse effects, Rafiqul Haq said, adding that new centres of Radio Today will be launched soon in Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal, Bogra, Mymensingh and Cox's Bazar.
He also urged the correspondents to dispense their duties by ensuring no harm to the interests of the country and its people.
AKM Manjurul Haque, chief news editor of Radio Today, called upon the journalists to work with dedication and responsibility.
