MEDEXPO-2009, the seventh international medical equipment and healthcare services exposition, will kick off at Dhaka Sheraton Hotel on December 10, the organiser said in a statement yesterday.
Kazi Wahidul Alam, chairman of MEDEXPO-2009, held a press conference to announce the launch.
The three-day event, organised by Triune Exhibition and Event Management Services, will be joined by more than 40 participants from seven countries, including Bangladesh.
Prof Syed Modasser Ali, health and family welfare adviser to the prime minister, will inaugurate the exhibition.
Participants include hospitals, manufacturers and distributors of medical furniture, equipment and accessories and others involved with the health sector.
The event will be supported by Otobi Ltd, one of the leading household and medical furniture makers in the country.
The show will be free to all from 10am to 8pm.
