In a reshuffle in the administration, the government yesterday transferred three secretaries and also made one of them officer on special duty (OSD).
According to a gazette notification of the establishment ministry, three additional secretaries were also given new postings while two were made OSD.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamun was transferred to the cultural affairs ministry to replace Md Sharful Islam, who was sent to the fisheries and livestock ministry.

Additional Secretary of the Roads and Highway Shafiq Alam Mehedi has been made acting secretary of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry while chairman of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) Md Abdul Mannan Hawlader has been transferred to the shipping ministry as an acting secretary.
The acting secretary of shipping ministry Md Masud Elahi has been made an OSD.
Chief Controller of the Directorate of Import and Export Md Zahurul Alam was made OSD while OSD Md Iqbal Khan Chowdhury was transferred to the home ministry as additional secretary.
