Grandsons of Runa Laila record a patriotic song: PM gives a thumbs up

Eminent singer Runa Laila's grandsons, eight-year-old Aaron and 12-year-old Zain who live in the UK recently recorded a patriotic Bangla song, “I Love My Bangladesh”, along with two other Bangladeshi expatriate children Najwa and Zayna.
The diva along with her daughter Tani Laila Islam, grandsons Aaron and Zain and husband actor Alamgir went to Gonobhaban on April 13 to present the CD to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The Prime Minister received the CD and wrote her blessings on it. My grandsons rendered the song and the premier listened to the song with patience. I am grateful to her that she inspired singers of the forthcoming generations who will move our country forward with their musical prowess. I am very happy, proud and honoured that our premier has motivated my grandsons immensely,” said Runa Laila.
The song is written by Sudip Kumar Dip, and composed and arranged by Raja Kaasheff. Minhaj Kibriya has shot and directed the video for the song, which is expected to air on Bangladeshi TV channels soon.
