The government has appointed Ikram Ahmed as chairman of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).
President Abdul Hamid made the appointment, a press release of the public administration ministry said today, reports the Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
His appointment will be effective from his resignation as a member of the commission, the press release added.
Ikram will replace Ahmedul Huq Choudhury whose tenure expired on December 19.
