One dengue patient died while 335 others were hospitalised in the 24 hours till this morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new death and cases, the total number of deaths this year rose to 88 while total number of cases rose to 13,943, of whom 6,781 are from outside Dhaka.

Currently, 1,193 dengue patients are undergoing treatment across the country.
