18 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), 11 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, one in Khulna, two in Dhaka division, two in Dhaka North City Corporation and two were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka South City Corporation.

The total number of case has risen to 2,044 this year, with14 deaths reported.

Last year, the number of cases were 101,214, with 575 deaths reported, the statement added.
