'How Sweet'

Kajal Arefin Ome's web-film "How Sweet" is all set for release on Bongo tonight. This lighthearted, commercial-style rom-com stars Apurba and Tasnia Farin in the lead roles. Following the release of its teaser, the film sparked discussions, with fans appreciating the director's ambitious storytelling approach.

Shot over 17 days across various locations in Dhaka and Barishal, the film promises entertainment with a stellar ensemble cast, including Marzuk Russell, Abdullah Rana, Arfan Mredha Shiblu, Saidur Pavel, and Ziaul Hoque Polash, alongside the lead pair.

'Chhaya'

Director Wazed Ali Sumon's "Chhaya" carries a powerful message against violence toward women and children. Originally intended for theatrical release after its 2023 production, the film debuted as a web release for Eid today.

The story follows two orphaned siblings who endure mistreatment. Their lives take a darker turn when their stepmother enters the picture. However, when their mother dies under mysterious circumstances, the young girl is accused of murder. 

Simrin Lubaba and Arnil portray the siblings, with supporting performances by Asif Noor, Shobnom Bubly, Sushoma Sarkar and others.
