Filmmaker and writer Tahira Kashyap has revealed that she is battling breast cancer for the second time, nearly seven years after her first diagnosis in 2018. Known for her candidness and resilience, Tahira shared the news on Instagram on World Health Day, urging the importance of regular health screenings.

"Round 2 for me... I still got this," wrote Tahira in her heartfelt post, while crediting regular mammograms for early detection. Staying optimistic, she added, "When life gives you lemons, make kala khatta!"

Her husband, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, whom she called her "rock," has been by her side through both battles. Messages of support poured in from friends and well-wishers, including Sonali Bendre, Twinkle Khanna, and Aparshakti Khurana, who praised her strength and spirit.

Tahira, who previously inspired many by openly sharing her first cancer journey and embracing her bald look, has been a strong voice for breast cancer awareness and early detection.
