Once considered the 'queen' of Dhallywood, Shabnur ruled silver screens for more than a decade. She secured her place in the hearts of people, presenting many hit films over the years, pairing with actors like Salman Shah, Omar Sani, Riaz, and Shakib Khan among many others.

Shabnur, in her official Facebook page, has announced her YouTube account in order to stay connected with her fans. "Friends, I am excited to announce my YouTube channel to stay closer to you all," she said. "I hope to upload regular updates and fun content regularly."

Born as Sharmin Nahid Nupur, made her debut in the silver screen with eminent director Ehtesham's "Chandni Ratey" in 1993, with her now iconic stage name 'Shabnur'. She is also regular on her Facebook page and Instagram account as Shabnur Shabnoor.

Shabnur's last film, "Pagol Manush", was released in 2015. M M Sarkar who was the director of the film, passed away, leaving the film incomplete. However, the film was later completed by Badiul Alam.

The actress now lives in Australia with her son, mother and sister.
