Pakistani model and actress Zara Ahmed is set to make her debut in Bangladeshi cinema with "Force". Director Asif Iqbal confirmed on Tuesday (March 11) that she has officially signed on for the project. The film will see Zara in the role of a police officer in a revenge-driven narrative.

Asif, impressed by Zara's performances in television serials, initially shared a 30-second look of "Force" with her.

"She was amazed by our action sequences. I later sent her the full script and production plan, which she found compelling. Since everything aligned well, we decided to move forward," Asif said.

The film is currently in pre-production, with shooting scheduled to commence on April 10 at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC). Additional sequences will be filmed in Keraniganj and Gazipur. Zara is expected to stay in Bangladesh for about two weeks. The production team aims to wrap up filming in April and release the film during Eid-ul-Azha.

Asif Iqbal, who previously directed "Chokh", is leading the project. Meanwhile, Zara has also signed on for the Pakistani film "Chhu Lay Aasman".

While primarily known for her modeling career, Zara gained recognition through television dramas including "Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay" and "Khudsar". She will star alongside Bangladeshi actor Mak Didar in "Force".
