The Oikko-Channel i Music Awards was held yesterday, at the Sheikh Russel Cantonment, Padma Bridge.

This year Rabindra Sangeet exponent Rezwana Choudhury Bannya was honoured with the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award.

The award programme has been designed and directed by Ezaz Khan Swapan.

General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, Bangladesh Army Chief, handed over the honour to Rabindra Sangeet exponent Rezwana Chaudhury Bannya (Lifetime Achievement award) at the grand ceremony. Faridur Reza Sagar, managing director of Impress Telefilm Ltd and Channel i, presented the artiste with the certificate, while Shykh Seraj, Director and Head of News at Channel i, gave her the cheque for the prize money.
