'Keyamot Theke Keyamot' cinematographer Z H Mintu passes away

National film Award winning cinematographer Z H Mintu passed away today at 6 am after a long batlle with cancer. He was 66 years old at the time of his death.
The news was confirmed by Asaduzzaman Majnu, General Secretary of Bangladesh Film Cinematographers Association.
Mintu suffered a stroke about three months ago. After which, he was diagnosed with brain tumour. Despite undergoing brain surgery for the removal of his tumour, the artiste was later diagnosed with brain cancer.
In his long illustrious career, he worked as an assistant of veteran cinematographer Shadhan Roy. He was also the cinematographer of notable films like, "Chandranath","Hangor Nodi Grenade", "Keyamot Theke Keyamot", "Nijhum Oronno" and "Chandni". Furthermore, He won the National Film Award for the film, "Post Master 71".
