With the Oscars now behind us, it's time to turn our attention to the next major awards event—Emmys 2025.

The organisers have confirmed that the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on September 14 (September 15 in Bangladesh) and will be broadcast on CBS. The event will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.

The ceremony will be held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles and will be televised live by the Television Academy, running for a total of three hours.

This will be the second time the Emmys follow their regular schedule. In 2023, the ceremony was delayed due to the dual Hollywood strikes by writers and actors, eventually being rescheduled for January 2024.

Staying on schedule, the TV Academy will announce the official Emmy nominations on July 15. However, the host and producers for the event are yet to be revealed.

The Emmys broadcast will take place after the pre-recorded Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which will be hosted by the Television Academy on September 6 and 7.

At the 2024 Emmys, "Shōgun" dominated the best drama categories, while "The Bear" secured four awards.
