40 enthusiasts gearing up to stage a unique dance recital

After a three-month-long intense dance course under noted dance artiste Arthy Ahmed, forty dance enthusiasts are now reaching out to their life-long dream of exploring dance and performing arts. They are now opting to take their first step into the world of dance with their first dance recital performance, "Riturongo".
The forty students have already completed five workshops on Bharatnatyam. The director of the dance recital, Arthy Ahmed, shared about her three-month long students, "These forty practitioners are all adults who have come to learn dancing at a mature age—they have come to practice dancing for their love of the arts."
"Over these three months, I have seen these forty dancers give their all to learn, despite all the business of life like their jobs, family, and household works," continues Arthy. "Normally, it takes years to polish a dance form. That's why many of us dancers have started practicing the art since a tender age. However, I really admire their courage and love of dancing, which invoked them to pursue it at this stage."
Arthy further adds, "These beginner adult dancers are now taking their first step via performing a dance recital based on our six seasons. This is also a test for them to truly understand if they wish to pursue dancing or not."
The forty dancers are the second batch of Arthy Ahmed's adult beginners dance course and workshops. Now, after undergoing the three-month long course and five workshops, they are opting to stage a grand dance recital titled "Riturongo".
The grand dance recital will be held on the coming August 18, 7:30 pm, at the Chhayanaut auditorium.
