Global Music Awards have been taking place in California for about 32 years. In this year's iteration, Bangladeshi singer Sabbir Nasir has won a 'Bronze' award in the Male Singer category for his hit song, "Adha". 

Masud Hasan Ujjal has directed the music video for the song, for which he also won the Bronze award in the 'Music Video' category.

"My YouTube channel has already accumulated more than 50,000 subscribers in a mere 10 months," says the singer. "I feel overwhelmed after receiving this wonderful news from the Global Music Awards. I feel proud and honoured after receiving this recognition for the song".

Sabbir Nasir also told The Daily Star that everyone involved with this song also deserve equal praise.

Singer Nasir Sabbir had released his song "Adha" last Eid. Omar Faruk Bishal has written the lyrics and tune for this song, which has been composed Sajid Sarker.

The music video features model and actress Neel Hurerzahan.
