In a surprising development, Blackpink members have surpassed BTS on the Billboard charts, breaking records with their solo projects.

Jennie recently made headlines by securing the Hot Shot Debut on both the Billboard Global Excl US chart and the Billboard Global 200 with her song "Like Jennie". The track debuted at No 3 and No 5, respectively, marking a major achievement for the South Korean artiste and her fellow group members.

This success is part of a series of remarkable chart performances by Blackpink members. Just last week, Lisa achieved the highest new entry on the Global Excl US chart, debuting at No 14 with her collaboration with Future, "FXCK Up the World".

The previous week, Jennie made another impressive entry with "ExtraL", featuring Doechii, landing at No 13 and 18 on the Global Excl US and Global 200 charts, respectively. Before that, Jisoo's "Earthquake" reached No 22 on the Global Excl US chart, while Lisa's "Born Again", featuring Doja Cat and RAYE, debuted at No 12 and 22.

For five consecutive weeks, Blackpink soloists have dominated the global charts with the biggest new releases. The only member who hasn't recently earned a Hot Shot Debut is Rosé, though she previously achieved the milestone with "Toxic Till The End" and "APT" featuring Bruno Mars in November and December.

This wave of solo success builds anticipation for Blackpink's upcoming "Blackpink 2025 World Tour", which is scheduled to kick off on July 5, 2025. The tour will include 15 performances across Asia, Europe, and North America, with additional shows set for Tokyo in January 2026.

As Blackpink continues to break records both individually and as a group, they are proving once again why they reign supreme in the K-pop world.
